🔥Netflix Launches Punk Doc: “Fat Wrecked” Chronicles DIY Label Revolution
October 2025 –Netflix is bringing punk fans a front-row seat to chaos, comedy, and culture with *Fat Wrecked*, a new documentary exploring the rise of legendary punk label Fat Wreck Chords. Founded in 1990 by NOFX frontman Fat Mike and Erin Burkett, the label became a powerhouse for independent punk in the ’90s and 2000s.
*Fat Wrecked* dives into the label’s anti-corporate ethos, chaotic touring lifestyle, and its role in shaping bands like NOFX, Lagwagon, Propagandhi, and Against Me! Through rare backstage footage and brutally honest interviews, the film captures how a DIY punk label became an underground empire.
“Fat Wreck wasn’t just a label — it was a movement,” says one insider.
Directed by punk documentarian Jake Lawton, *Fat Wrecked* premieres globally this December, only on Netflix.
