Netflix is diving into maritime mystery with its newly announced docuseries, *Carnival Cruise: Lost at Sea*, a chilling exposé on the bizarre and unexplained events surrounding one of the most infamous cruise disappearances of the last decade.
The limited series will chronicle the 2021 voyage of the *Carnival Odyssey*, which departed from Miami with over 3,000 passengers — but returned with 42 unaccounted for. The official report cited “heavy storms and navigational anomalies,” but leaked footage and anonymous crew interviews suggest something far more disturbing.
Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Jordan Keel, the series features never-before-seen security camera footage, intercepted ship communications, and gripping survivor accounts. Netflix promises a story “where paradise turned to panic.”
The announcement poster, splashed with the words *Lost at Sea*, has already sparked viral speculation across social media.
Prepare to rethink your next vacation.
