Bring Me The Horizon Announce New Album and 2025 World Tour Featuring Classic Lineup and Unreleased Tracks
October 18, 2024 — British rock band Bring Me The Horizon (BMTH) has just sent shockwaves through the music world with an announcement that will thrill longtime fans: a brand-new album, an expansive 2025 world tour, and the return of their classic lineup for the first time in over a decade. Known for their genre-defying sound and evolution from metalcore to a more mainstream rock and electronic fusion, BMTH has promised that this project will bring back the raw energy that defined their early years while showcasing new creative directions.
The new album, titled Resurgence, is set to release in March 2025 and will feature both unreleased tracks from the band’s vault and fresh material that revisits the band’s iconic sound from the early 2000s. This mix of old and new is anticipated to take fans on a journey through BMTH’s musical evolution, with contributions from their classic lineup members.
In a press release, lead vocalist Oli Sykes expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s been a long time coming. We felt it was time to reconnect with our roots and bring back the music that meant so much to us and our fans. Resurgence is both a nod to where we’ve been and a step toward where we’re heading.”
The 2025 world tour, dubbed “The Resurgence Tour,” will kick off in April in the UK and is expected to hit major cities across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. This tour will not only feature tracks from Resurgence but will also showcase rare performances of fan-favorite songs from BMTH’s early albums, with members of the classic lineup returning to bring these songs to life in the way they were first envisioned.
The tour will feature classic members including guitarist Curtis Ward, who departed in 2009, and Jona Weinhofen, who was a guitarist during the There Is a Hell, Believe Me, I’ve Seen It era. Fans are eagerly awaiting their return, as the reunion of this lineup brings a renewed sense of nostalgia and excitement.
Early ticket demand has already surged, with pre-sales set to open next week. Additionally, limited-edition merch bundles and exclusive VIP packages are available, including access to an intimate acoustic session with the band and early access to listen to Resurgence before its official release.
Bring Me The Horizon’s resurgence marks a celebration of their roots while embracing the future. For fans old and new, the tour and album promise an experience like no other—one that honors the journey, evolution, and enduring influence of a band that has continually redefined modern rock.
