Alice Cooper Announces 2025 Tour and New Album, Promises “Classic Rock Chaos”
Legendary rocker Alice Cooper has thrilled fans with the announcement of a brand-new album and an accompanying tour set for 2025. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, known for his theatrical stage presence and iconic hits like School’s Out and Poison, made the announcement during a live-streamed event on Monday evening.
The new album, titled Road to Oblivion, is described as a return to Cooper’s hard-rock roots, with a modern twist. Cooper has teamed up with long-time collaborators Bob Ezrin and guitarist Nita Strauss to deliver what he promises will be “an album that pushes boundaries while staying true to the heart of rock ‘n’ roll.”
“It’s raw, it’s loud, and it’s everything you want from an Alice Cooper record,” said the shock rock icon. “We wanted to capture the chaos of life on the road and the madness that comes with it.”
The 2025 tour, dubbed the Chaos and Carnage Tour, will kick off in late spring with over 40 dates across North America, Europe, and Australia. Cooper revealed that fans can expect a full-blown spectacle, complete with elaborate props, new theatrical elements, and a setlist that spans his five-decade career.
“You know me — if you’re coming to an Alice Cooper show, you better be ready for the unexpected,” he teased.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, with presale access available to members of Cooper’s fan club. The album is slated for release in early June, coinciding with the start of the tour.
Fans are already buzzing on social media, with many declaring 2025 the “year of Alice Cooper.” With his trademark blend of music and macabre theatrics, the rock legend seems poised to remind the world why he remains a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
