Alice in Chains Announces 2025 Tour and New Album, Echoes of the Hollow
Seattle’s iconic rock band Alice in Chains has unveiled plans for a major 2025 tour, coinciding with the release of their long-awaited new album, Echoes of the Hollow. Scheduled to drop in early summer, the album will be the band’s first since 2018’s critically acclaimed Rainier Fog.
In a statement released Thursday, guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell shared insights into the album’s creative direction. “Echoes of the Hollow reflects where we are as a band today, but it’s deeply connected to the DNA of Alice in Chains,” Cantrell said. “It’s heavy, haunting, and raw—everything our fans expect but with a few surprises.”
The band has also announced a sprawling tour that will kick off in July 2025, with stops across major North American cities before heading to Europe and South America. The tour will feature a mix of new material and classic hits, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale November 15, with pre-sales available for fan club members starting November 10.
Bassist Mike Inez expressed his excitement about hitting the road again. “We’ve been working on this for a long time, and it’s going to feel incredible to get back on stage and connect with our fans,” he said.
Rumors of a new Alice in Chains album began circulating earlier this year after Cantrell teased studio sessions on social media. The official announcement has sparked a wave of anticipation among fans and critics alike, many of whom are eager to hear how the band continues to evolve while staying true to their roots.
Echoes of the Hollow will be available on all major streaming platforms and in physical formats, including vinyl, starting June 14, 2025.
